"Perforex" BC2001S Machining Centre from Kiesling GmbH

The savings that can be made using a "Perforex" machining centre over manual labour are listed in the spreadsheet below. These are guide figures only, and assume the labour for setup of the perforex to be an average 5 mins (placing and removal of the panel, changing tools etc) and programming (keying of parameters etc) to be an average of 15 minutes (faster with CAD file import), compared to the manual labour to mark out, drill, tap, and mill/cut the required areas.

These times are based on proven examples and, in an attempt to be realistic, they are based on the following mix of individual and identical panels.

50% Individual Panels
20% Repetitive Panels
30% Jobs with small modifications

"Perforex" Cost Savings Analysis

Change any of the blue figures to give an idea of the £ savings that can be achieved for different quantities of panels per month. The savings are given in £ per panel and £ per month.
