Product
Summary
CP Power & Automation offer a wide range of battery
chargers and systems from 45W up to 2.7kW and beyond. Our range is highly flexible
with options for auxiliary outputs, din-rail, chassis, or rack mounting,
conformal coating of pcbs, serial communications including Modbus, Devicenet,
and Canbus, and volt free relays, or RS232 for signalling.
A particular feature of the Oracle Battery Chargers is the
programmable nature of some products, which can be software configured using the
RS232 link from a PC or handheld terminal, for specific battery parameters and
charging characteristics. They are primarily
aimed at battery-backed mission-critical applications, providing a main output
for powering the load, together with a second output for charging an external
standby battery. In the event of a mains failure, the battery supplies power to
the load via an internal feed-forward diode.
We also provide custom
battery chargers for the rail industry. These chargers comply with all the
relevant rail standards (e.g. EN50155, ENV50121), and are available for onboard, trackside, or mobile
